at minimum he bought the $100 version of the game that starts you with like 30 packs and 26,000 stubs

You got 10 packs and 6K stubs just for pre-ordering any version. Every card is also cheap as hell at launch because of people wanting to get stubs at quickly as possible for whatever reason.

5k and 10 packs isnt enough to have more than 1 player on the market at a time unless you got incredibly lucky in your packs. i got 1 silver player and no golds or diamonds in mine. my highest guy was worth 130 stubs, you arent gonna earn 1k stubs very fast flipping those guys

i've been trying to sell gary carter for the past hour, watching his price steadily get undercut while only 1 has sold that wasnt a quicksell.

Game is fun so far, I definitely like the 1 inning missions haha got 4 of em done pretty fast before I had to leave. Haven't really felt too far off on swing timing but haven't faced any flamethrowers

Just talked to another friend that is a solid player. He packed Stanton in a pre-order pack and sold for 67K lmao. Lucky bastard.
He also said gameplay is better than 18 which is good news. He did a BR card and went 12-1.

I got Bryce in a pack a few weeks in last year. Have never packed Trout.

when ya'll get the game, do yourself a huge favor and pick up matt champman as your third baseman for diamond dynasty. dude is absolutely incredible on defense and will save you way more runs than his above average batt will cost you

I don't and couldn't give a single flying frick about playing anything online, stubs, DD, or any of that shite. But the game itself plays the best it's ever played. There's a few little quirks that'll eventually be patched out, but overall it's great. Fielding is much improved over last year.
