We’re in kind of uncharted territories here. Call of Duty has been on a very regular cadence for many many years, and Warzone has made us rethink exactly how best to release new content and how to integrate it. Call of Duty is a genre in itself, there are different branches in the Call of Duty tree, but they’re all connected in some ways. Warzone will be the through line that connects all of the different various sub-franchises of Call of Duty.

It’s going to be really cool to see how the different sub-franchises sort of come in and out of focus, but Warzone will be the one constant.

With Treyarch developing CoD: 2020, I have a feeling they will be developing a new map for Warzone. But will it have Treyarch weapons or will there be a cross-brand type gameplay between IW and Treyarch? Soap/Price skins vs Woods/Mason skins? I feel like they're going the route of the CoD: Mobile. Which would be interesting.

With Warzone being free to play I’m interested to see how sales are with the new game.

I think we will eventually have a continuously updated MP that brings in all of the guns and maps from previous games. Call it "Call of Duty: Generations" or something and it would be subscription based.

If you avg the TTK across all the games, it should be pretty balanced and would eliminate the need to "re-skin" maps. Just have to figure out a way to tweak the kill streaks.
