One of the Caped Crusader's newest moves is the ability to sabotage weapons; confirmed by the US publication of Official Xbox Magazine, very little is known about this ability, save the fact that when enemies attempt to shoot Batman after the Dark Knight has tampered with the weapon, the gun will misfire. This could make for some very amusing confrontations when we get to play the game in October!

AC2 gets a 10 if this baby shows up...

How soon before the game releases do you think we'll get a demo?
****separate thought****
Seriously? October? This game looks done to me

I feel like there is zero chance we get batmobile navigation with all the work they put into the gliding navigation. Plus there is no traffic, you'd be the only car on the road.
However, they keep saying that this game is still 90% under wraps even with the leaking of robin (which I also felt there was zero chance of) so you never know
That demo should be released...I'd play it everyday until october 18

I guess I need to distinguish my AC's. One is Assassins Creed 2, and the other one is Batman
ETA On a serious note, when have we ever been able to drive around in the batmobile in any game? In AA, it was all cut scenes. Not sure how that would mess with the game dynamics, but I would love to have it.

didn't notice the 2? frick that bullshite game. The gameplay mechanics are really clunky and unrefined, combat is ZERO fun. I guess Uncharted 1 & 2 just made that game no fun for me because I liked playing the first 2 and I just bought brotherhood to pass the time and it fricking sucks

I would love to be able to drive the batmobile around, but I just don't see why the guards would let batman just drive it in....The bat jet could be doable as a quick travel...you grapple up and it flys you to a pre determined spot. Maybe a quick travel to the bat cave under wayne manor? That would rule. i don't know if they'll do a bat cave in this one.

My roommate is loving Brotherhood, and I'm going through and getting 100% on the collectibles on 2 before moving to the next. Combat is not my favorite either, but since the emphasis of the game is assassinations, I guess you are encouraged to avoid up front conflicts at all cost. Some of the counter moves are pretty sweet, though.

yeah but it is impossible to assassinate and silently get away, it always ends with a ridiculous chase scene.
112 days...
oh and frick that tiger woods thread...they're talking about swamp people and true blood

To get the Batmobile to work, they'd have to make a full size city. Like, GT4 size. But then, most buildings would probably be placeholder buildings, with no planning put into them, and the city would kind of feel "dead." The current premise of something smaller, with every part of the city planned in detail, has a better feel to it.
But still, maybe next generation, a full size, living and breathing Gotham City. Keep all the lovely combat abilities, Add The Batmobile (and Batwing), and tons of random muggings and other crime activity, and AHHHHHHHHIWANTTHAT.

LOL. Let them have their fun.
And it's not impossible. Depends on the situation, and obviously, if there are guards watching you, they'll give chase. It's easy enough to escape them. It's usually best not to take on a bunch of guards at once. Two is alright if you can get behind them.
Was trying to find a double roof kill, but this cracked me up.

I can see them putting in one scene where he's got to get from one side of the city to another, and he's able to get the batmobile inside somehow, so it's a race against time running through the streets at breakneck spead

yeah, but a one time taste of the batmobile would leave me disappointed...I'd rather them just leave it out.
Maybe in the 3rd game...Batman: Gotham City

i hate those fricking jester things...I still think the first game is the best.

They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't stop RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU when you are trying to sneak around as opposed to running.
Posted on 6/27/11 at 10:22 am to sicboy
batman would go freeflow on them
Posted on 6/27/11 at 10:24 am to DelU249
If they get too annoying, just drop some coin. They'll forget they even HAVE a guitar, or whatever the crap that thing is.
Posted on 6/27/11 at 10:28 am to sicboy
i don't even bother with the game...I just can't enjoy any of them due to Uncharted...In fact, I think Brotherhood had too much platforming, and seemed to be like an uncharted ripoff instead of focusing on what made the other 2 games good

I'm really struggling to see the connection with Uncharted and Assassins Creed. Honest question. Other than the 3rd person camera, they really aren't similar at all. Uncharted is very linear.
