Time for another backer survival game:: Survive The Nights

That being said you can easily get 50-100 hours out of it, even with the occasional rubber banding.

Game is on unity Engine which is gorgeous ( same Escape from tarkov uses)

Ignore the steam reviews as 90% of them are form when it first launched before the first big major patch.

It's primarily PvE. You can kill other players but it will cause you mental distress and you cant loot bodies, so there's no motivation for it other than to be a dick.

There's voice in game.

I would say for its initial launch it's less laggy than ARK was, but there are times when i get some serious rubber banding. Maybe 30 min of the 6 hrs i played yesterday.

Youll get your time in easily just learning how to navigate and learning mechanics.

There is plenty of loot, its not SUPER abundant but after 2 quick deaths i went through 6 night cycles ( 30/30 day/night) and wound up with 2 pistols, a shotgun, machete, baseball bat w nails, and lever action rifle, all with ammo.

Servers are pretty empty so you can easily find one with no other players if you prefer, or find out with 5-6+, expecting a lot more players and private servers in near future.

They have a discord and a gamewiki, as well as a map. it shows your coords for now, It's just like h1z1 in the beginning ( x, y, z) 0,0 is center of map, anything - is West/South and anything positive is East/North.

I streamed for prob 4 hours yesterday and got 50+ views throughout, evn got hosted by a guy at one point.

Night time is brutal unless theres a big moon, you'll spend a lot of them hiding in buildings, since zombies are super OP at night time.

All around it's been fun just learning and killing random zeds in the daytime. Plenty of places i've never been I'm gona explore today.
