Looking to get through this final push and I’ve heard really great stuff about this gwent centered Witcher 3 prequel (I guess technically since it happens in the books). Has anyone else played it and is it good, I fricking love gwent in W3 but have been told it’s changed a fair amount for the task of combat all being about it and it needed more depth and difficulty

It basically tells the stories of how Geralt became an official night of Rivia and is only 9.99 with an 86% score on GOG. The guy who insult Geralt at the knights tourney in Blood and Wine is referring to these events .

Also if anyone else needs something to give a few weeks push Witcher 2 is 2.99 on GOG. Lol

I loved Thronebreaker. It is far more than just Gwent. I've probably completed the game 5 times. If you like Gwent, I would be shocked if you didn't like Thronebreaker.

But it is far more than Gwent. There are plenty of card puzzles and some minor role playing elements.
