I still use my modded Xbox some. All I remember about it was that I gave it to my firmed and also gave him a 250 gb hard drive, and he gave it back to me loaded up and ready to go. There was some soldering involved somewhere in there. That was back when I lived on State St and had the blockbuster game pass. Still runs, though sometimes it likes to not boot. Totally worth $100 if it has an extensive Xbox library. The old ROMS aren't worth it. You'd be better off buying a PC controller and using your computer for those.

I don't think it has any old Xbox games on it

Just get the free emulators and Roms online and then use a PC controller. That's essentially all the person did to that Xbox.

If you're looking for an emu box it may be easier just to buy an Ouya and download some of the many emulators on the Play market.
