Is the multiplayer just co op or does it have servers with other players?

I haven’t had the chance to play it much because of work, but I did click on multiplayer and several servers popped up. Not sure if they are dedicated servers or not.

I just started my first full playthrough of witcher 3 after owning it since launch, but after that I'll prob buy it.
I quit playing the forest after a few days of base building and getting bored. Hopefully the day/night timer is adjustable. I never seemed to have enough time to do anything before i was fighting baddies and waitinf for dawn again.
