Ranked games with friends

I see i can do unranked with friends, what about ranked? I see when i create a session on ranked my ability to invite goes away. Is there any way around this? TIA

if i had to guess it's probably to prevent people from easily leveling up (i.e. you invite a friend to a game and they let you blow them out with the worst team in the game).
an easy way around it would be to meet them in the lobby.
i am assuming you are talking about ncaa, which i think is a reasonable assumption.
