Some posters have stronger biases than others, which are explicitly reflected in their posting histories. Some probably wouldn't even hesitate to mention outright that they're overwhelming partial to one platform over the others.
After scanning Daily's post history, however, I'm not quite sure how anyone could come to the conclusion that he's partial towards any system.
So, it's flummoxing that he would be labeled as biased towards Sony, and even more confounding that this comment would even be directed towards him...
So, I'll go back to my last post - true platform preferences (if any) of a user don't always align with the board's perception and categorical label of that user.

I saw that but assumed he meant to reply to someone else. Regardless, any time someone has to use name calling to make their point, they've lost me.

I didn't say I've never called anyone anything ever, but I don't think I've ever called someone a name on here simply because I disagreed with them.
If I have, I wouldn't expect them to engage with me in conversation. There's no point talking to someone who says the equivalent of "You're stupid!" without even exchanging a single point.

I wanted to point it out explicitly to tie in to the earlier discussion regarding perceptions of users' preferences.
You emphasized the importance of post history to draw inferences and provide "context", yet admit you didn't do that...after saying you did and after you engaged in labeling Daily as "biased".
The point, however, is that other posters (RTR) rallied around this sentiment, regardless of its veracity, and perpetuated that sentiment by confronting Daily about his alleged bias. This is a pristine example of what I was referring to in my initial post, and it's something that has certainly occurred to other posters in the past.

I said all we have to go off of are peoples posts but I didn't say I would go digging into their post history to confirm my assumptions. If I notice a person posting one way then that is what I base my assumption off of.
I didn't notice Daily until last week some time and since then I have only noticed like 3 or 4 of his post. A few of which seemed defending or taking sides of the PS4. It's obvious I may have taken them out of context. My mistake was making an early conclussion about him off of so few post.
I can't speak for RTR and what he based his assumption off of.

Let's just say this is true for the sake of argument. Why, to you, does that equal "PS pole smoker"? Why do you go so extreme with your assumption to imply I suck Playstation's genitals?
Maybe I'm too poor to afford both consoles and I simply picked the PS4 as my "horse" because it's cheaper? Maybe I wish I could buy a Xbox One, but can't, but I'm still excited about the features Sony is putting into the system I can afford.

Wouldn't your bias lean that way and you would defend it no matter how cool you though features of another console is?
