Not a problem. I would like to apologize to everyone for slowing things up. I know y'all were getting restless.

And that frosh WR they had last year is really good too. (Can't remember his name.
Jeremy MacLin
Looks like the two of us will be going at it in the Border War.

Thanks his name totally slipped from me. Hells yea hopefully the end result will be the same as last years

Mizzou was my number 2 as well. That would've really pissed you off.
I just love running time off the clock in user vs. user games. Probably shouldn't tell people my strategy yet but if someone has a strong offense, they shouldn't see the field much if my RBs are performing.

lol... We'll see. KU has some pretty good talent coming back, but they lost some critical players on both sides. They've got some inexperienced guys who are going to have step up for them if they want to do anything this year. I happen to like Todd Reesing. He's got excellent poise and he's a gamer.

Yea I dunno who I would have went with then. I really wanted South Florida because I like Matt Grothe, but I don't think they are good enough to compete with the top teams. No doubt James Davis and C.J Spiller are sick, plus Cullen Harper impressed me last year.

That's the best way to beat someone in user vs user games. If you've got a stout ground game, and you put together 10-14 play drives consistently, your opponent virtually has no shot unless he can answer with the same. I hate games like that because I'm usually the one that gives up a huge turnover, and it's normally on my end of the field.

I like to watch both Chase Daniels and Todd Reesing. Both are tough and gamers

I thought about getting Texas Tech. Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree is a deadly one-two punch.
Of course, it would be hard to beat people after a while. They would key in on him and virtually take away my big play threat. My RBs would only have 30 carries for the season.

Yea I thought about them too. The only bad thing for me about the run-and-gun offense is I am VERY turnover prone. I definately have to make smarter throws or I will get hammered every game. I will prolly average around 2 picks or more a game.

I'm going to watch KU and Texas this year in Lawrence. It should be pretty good. I still think Texas is overrated.

My biggest problem in the game is my tendency to want to make big plays and do it myself all the time. Especially on defense. I try to jump the routes, but I always frick up and give up a big gain or touchdown. I calmed down on that, and I just started playing more with the ends and interior linemen.
Offensively, if I can run it on you, and pick up three or four yards a carry every time, I'm not going to throw much. When, and if, I do throw, it's going to be short out routes to someone in the flats, spot (screen) passes to the WRs, or swing passes to my RBs out of the backfield.

I am pretty much the same way. Defense I usually use the a defensive end. Offense if I notice man, I throw a ton of curls and out routes. I find that unbelivebly effective against man. I go to a ground game if I pick up decent yards, but if it is not there then I will air it out.

You're right about passing against man coverage. And when your guy does beat his man, there's usually a safety playing in 2-deep zone that comes out of nowhere to come disrupt the play.
Last year's game was the first time I recall the slant routes being so effective. Especially when it's a guy in the slot of the TE against a dime or nickel package. Little quick slant to the middle, and once they get behind the MLB and have a step on him, you can pick up at least 9 or 10 yards.

Yea I noticed that about slants last year too. Just from the demo of the game this year HB screens look very effective I swear I pick up at least 10 yards every time I run that play.

Good thing. I was tired of seeing a HB screen turn up busted 9 out of 10 times.
