I hope none of you has to ever go through what I experienced yesterday.
A tornado hit my hometown, and was watching the radar. Radar had it going right over my house. I wasn't able to get in touch with anyone. Thankfully, the tornado shifted and barely missed our house. Finally got in touch with my family around 9 last night.

Unfortunately, I've been through it more than once. South Alabama is notorious for getting tornadoes. The worst was probably 3-1-07 when half our town was destroyed including the high school, which was full of students. I think there were ten fatalities at the school that day.

We are expecting it to get rough around here tonight. Hopefully we are able to avoid anything too serious.
