PS3 light turns yellow and shuts off??

Ok i just got a new game, we all know what it is... And my PS3 just crapped out on me. 
When i turn it on the light turns green for a couple seconds and the screen comes up black. Then the light will turn to yellow for a second, and then it turns red and turns off. I have given it a day to rest but it still does the same. To top that off, my game is stuck in the system.
Has this happend to anybody? Any ideas or suggestions?

Well, from what I've read, it's pretty much a no win situation. I dont know what it actually means, but I dont think they're lying when they say youre SOL. I'm pretty sure your PS3 is done for.

Your PS3 overheated and fried. Your fans were probably running on overtime and then shut down. If you do a google search, you may be able to try some things to get your game out, but overall, the PS3 is done. You can send it off to get repaired or buy a new one. I say buy a new one.....but not all of us are ballin like Black and Croacka.
