I return tomorrow to work. But hey! Look on the bright side, only two more days and we're off again.

I didn't mind the extra time. Not spending $50 on oil was worth it

Get a smoker

You can cook turkey and hundreds of other things

It's healthier and I think I like smoke flavor more than fried, at least lately

I think they offer some type of training and classes but it's not required to get a concealed permit or to purchase a handgun here in Alabama. Pretty much they do a quick background check when purchasing. To get permit I went to the sheriff's office and filled out paper work and they called me a week later to let me know they didn't find any criminal history on me and my references checked out. Went down to the courthouse and paid my 25.00 and got my permit.

Aside from that, on those headphones you recommended is there any special volume adjustment I need to do on the headphones or on the PS3? I feel like this could end up with me screaming into the mic like I've got some earplugs in.

Hope all you guys had a good Christmas. The wife and I drove down to Mobile from Tuscaloosa yesterday and I left her with her family and I got up at 4:30 and came back this morning since I was out of vacation days. We got caught up in all the tornado warnings yesterday in Mobile but other than that a good trip. Tired as crap this morning though and have to work till 5

There's an input volume in the ps3 menu that you can adjust

Just wait for feedback from someone playing with you on how it sounds

There are 2 sliders on the headset, one for volume and one for mix

The mix lets you decide how loud you want the game audio vs the chat audio

I usually like the chat a little louder so the game doesn't drown people out
