A bandwagon fan is someone who follows a team because they are good. Last time I checked the US sucked in 06. (Yankees, Red Sox, Lakers, Patriots)
Following your country in the world cup is not bandwagon and I for one will be following qualifying for the 2014 WC

the bandwagoners that piss me off are when a team is doing good and people are all of a sudden lifetime supporters and then they lose a game and people go back to thinking they are shite again

So just b/c I don't follow individual league soccer year round I can't be a fan of the world cup? or enjoy watching each countries dream team compete which happens ONCE EVERY FOUR YEARS?

All i know is that i'm a USA fan. Whether they are good or bad, when they play in the WC, i cheer for them(Unlike Meezy)
I don't like soccer any other time of the year
Same goes with the Olympics, except if Track & Field is on T.V., i'll watch that along with a couple other Olympic events
