What controversy have I caused? 
A few people quit because they couldn't play games, and had to forfeit. The league hasn't started yet because not everyone is over the lag issue, and not everyone has played 10 games and had the game for 14 days.
So, we can't start a league until then.
But if you want to run the league, go for it. I don't mind, I just wanna play.
Also, this is how leagues die. There shouldn't be a set time to play a series. I believe thats why they included flex play in this years version.
And guess pitch is something everyone should agree with. I played around 80 or more games last year online, and that is how a lot of people play the game.
Rookie level will be too easy, and in my opinion not the best option. Veteran would probably work the best. But this should decided my majority vote.
If we have like over 12 teams then maybe. It's just when you have a draft with that few teams, these teams get way too talented, and its not as realistic. (Its like playing with your fantasy baseball team)
If its 10 teams and under best to not include teams like Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs etc. and play with the other average teams. I don't mind playing with the Blue Jays, Braves, Brewers, Cardinals, Marlins etc.
If everyone plays as they said they would, then fantasy draft will be fun.
Do you know if it's held online, or on the PS3?

haha yeah I understand. it was your idea to start the league last year wasn't it? and than your PS3 broke?
Plus, are you having lag issues? It's annoying me. I think I'm gonna connect my ethernet into my system instead of running it wirelessly to see how that works.

i havent played online yet, im letting them get the kinks out, i dont have the patience for lags, it aggravates the frick out of me

Based on what I saw today, I didn't see the option for a "flex" schedule although I think we'd all agree that's the way to go. I think guess pitch takes away from the realism and leans more room for "glitching", but if that's the standard I'd be fine with it.
Since you have aftertouch after guess pitch I don't mind when someone guesses my pitch, I'm just curious if you can still control where you put your hitting window.
We have over 8 people who want to play, I doubt if you played with 14 people someone would draft a team with as much talent as the Yankees. There is no parity in Baseball rosters so picking teams would be unfair even if you cut out the top 5 teams 6-14 aren't equal.

Yeah, the game has flex scheduling now. So, I guess the series option may be something you just have to choose as a default. I dunno though.
When it comes to guess pitch, I don't care if we keep it or not. Either is fine for me.
As for a fantasy draft, I have played with numerous leagues in MLB 2k7 where we had fantasy drafts. If I remember correctly they all seemed to be pretty stacked, but it would make it fair and even.
What about excluding the top 12, and playing with what's left? Their would still be plenty of good and even teams to choose from. Just an idea though.
