I tried this strategy alot when I started and found myself losing gun battles toward the end. It's advantageous to drop in on a ton of enemies and practice playing in Close quarters and quick looting. When and when not to loot and gearing up. Playing too passive could also leave you with worse meds/stims and armor.


as for the pc vs xbox debate, I think there are alot of important key bindings also that would make playing with a controller tough.
