PC ports need a "console" graphics setting?

Why isn't this a thing? If you're playing the PC version of a game and can't run it on max settings, would you not at least get some enjoyment out of the fact that you're playing at the same graphical fidelity of the base PS4 or higher?

Eh, I've played some PC games where "low" looks like running a PS3 game on the PS1.
