Question: My power supply has 2 EVGA cords one with an 8 pin molex and the other cord has an 8 pin and 6 pin. My video cards uses 2 8 pin Molex connectors, will it hurt to use one 8 from on cord and one 8 from the other?

Like a home use PC that doesn't require any kind of gaming. I'm basically asking for what I need to make the most inexpensive PC that only needs to be able to connect to the internet. I've only researched gaming stuff. I don't know what I need for a home office.

The cheapest APU+the cheapest FM2 board + 4gb of ram + whatever cheap PSU you can find+ cheap HDD. $250.

Buy a refurbed desktop for them from Woot or something. It will be the cheapest route.
