Get 2 modules of RAM "8GB(2x4GB)". That way you will run Dual Channels.
Maybe upgrade to a 600W PSU because those AMD parts come at a higher TDP. This will also allow you to OC a little, just for fun and for "free" performance boosts.
ETA:
Other than that, great choices. You will be more than satisfied.

I have that motherboard and I love it. Haven't had any problems at ball and its let me over clock way higher than i expected
Thanks for the feedback.

Is that ram free with combo? If so just go with it. It's hard to beat free.

I have/had 2x7950s in CFx. They performed like maniacs. Only complaint is the weird affects in games with CFx, more stuttering than I experienced with other SLi/CFx setups. Then again I never gamed much on it since it was secondary rigs.
That's what I meant, all the runts and dropped frames are what is stopping me.

Looks like it says just a $12 discount.

Meh, get two stick of 4 like coyote said unless your budget is just that tight.
Posted on 6/15/13 at 8:54 pm to brucevilanch
Ok. My budget isn't that tight, but what are the advantages of 2x4 over 1x8 that's worth giving up the $12 discount?

I find it more aesthetically pleasing
but there's something about dual channel transfer rates being higher than single channel blah blah blah I don't really know.

Ok I'll do some more research on it. My parents are really worried about me spending this much money so I'm trying to penny pinch as much as possible to make them happy.

Which I doubt is noticeable gaming but if the price is close go dual. My stick of 8gb ram was free with mobo so I just went with it.

Tell them that you'll do what you want and to :dwi:
If you want to save the 12 dollars and get a larger power supply, now that would be smart. You could also take that 12 dollars and put to towards a fx6350 ( which is the newer more powerful version of the 6300)

My bad sorry to ruin your thing haha.

Hahaha loritabs make me feel crazy. I've posted more since they were prescribed to me Thursday then I have in the last 2 months

Is this the CPU you're talking about? LINK
If it's a significant upgrade then I'll spend the money on it. I'm also getting my friend to see if he can make my build with a 2x4GB RAM set-up that will be comparable in pricing with the loss of the $12. If he can't, then is it really a big performance drop for gaming to have single channel? I also got him to add in the 600W PSU so that's all good.

Why you on loritabs brah?
If the dual channel is too much just go single. I really don't think it would matter for games although I have no benchmarks to support that.

I've been trying to look into it. Some people are saying that it's significantly better to go dual-channel, some are saying it's a negligible difference. I was hoping you guys would know.
My friend was able to put in a 2x4GB RAM set-up for my build for only $10 more, so I can do that if I really should.

6350 has a higher stock clock and but both overclock pretty well from what I've read.
Here's a comparison

Don't know what that shite means
, so my question is only "Is it worth the extra $19?"

Posted on 6/15/13 at 9:33 pm to tehchampion140
I would pay the extra 19 dollars for it, yes.
I have a broken tooth and it got infected before my dentist appointment so he gave me penicillin to kill the infection and loritabs till to hold me over till next week when he could fix it.
