Maybe to you, I'm a mellow guy and this is just a comedy of errors to me. I've got a somewhat functional Xbox One at the moment so it's not all bad.

because of the military I have zero patience.
I would have broken it. pure and simple. and shipped the parts back to them demanding a whole new system.

Thank god ive had no problems with mine. Everything works great and the kinnect is awesome.
But really ms support is awful. For over a year ive been trying to change the email address associated with my gamertag. Ive had those people tell me the wrong way to do it three differnt times, and every time i have to wait another month before i can try again. They seriously have to have the worst support service ever. After calling and threating to cancle my subscription (which ive had for over 7 years) they told me they would send me to tier 2 support but they only communicate through email and it would be two weeks before they got back to me. After two weeks and no response i called again they told me the same thing and after another week i finally got an email that was seriously just copy and pasted from their faq online support forum page. I love my xbox and xbox live but despise their customer service

So just received my advanced exchange Kinect sensor today. Packaging indicates that it was shipped Jan 02 so it all worked as planned. My question now is who the hell sent me this box of random Xbox One gear?!?

I finally talked to someone at MS who is a supervisor, when I exchanged my non-disc reading console to them I included the entire bundle (as you are supposed to). Once they determined that the console didn't work they sent me back the individual components like the controller, power supply, etc. Only they didn't inform me that they would be doing this at all, but whatever I have a free controller.

Moved my Xbox One from one room into another. Hooked it all back up and it's making me install Forza again as if it was never installed in the first place. Wtf
NBA 2K14 is being gay as usual with the black start up screen so I uninstalled that just to have to reinstall it.
Sometimes I have no idea wtf the console is doing.

Part of the process brah. I've got a totally functional Xbone at the moment so I'm happy about that and I'm pretty sure everything is squared away with MS.

I've moved mine between TVs a couple times and haven't had that issue. My ONE did disconnect itself from powering on my TV, Cable, Kinnect and everything else the other day. I unplugged it, plugged it back in and it went back to working without resetting my settings or anything.
