Yes,it should replenish every potion, bomb, decoction

the game doesn't make it obvious but you can set your D-Pad keys to be whatever you want. Could be 4 potions, could be 4 Beers/Wines, could be 1 potion, 1 drink, 1 food, 1 decoction.. etc or 2 food 2 potions

What are the best things to keep in the dpad quick slots? I'm def gonna need to keep potions and healing stuff there.

Yeah, if I remember correctly you must buy the recipes from a vendor. Usually a couple of merchants selling them. The upgrades are incremental -- regular potion -> enhanced potion -> superior potion.

Look for white raffard's decoction, too, especially if you're playing a harder difficulty. It replenishes health immediately. Good for when you're against those enemies that can kill in just two or three hits.

Yes. Have fun swimming around the bottom of lakes looking for one chest.

I don't remember where enhanced swallow comes from. But you should swim around

The best dpad setup is probably 1 food, 2 potion (t bolt and swallow) and 1 decoction but I'm sure everyone has their own preference. Maybe 2 foods if their vitality regeneration stacks. Haven't tested that

There's a midget/hafling/whatever herbalist around Novigrad that sells the enhanced recipe. No idea about the superior recipe though. I don't think I crafted too many superior items.

Well, I'm downloading again.

I've got nothing on the horizon that I am interested in playing so I'm headed back into Witcher. I thought about a total replay of Mass Effect 1-3 but opted for the Witcher.

There is so much shite to loot/horde..this game must've been mind blowing for you the first time

Be honest, did you go into every open door you could find in novigrad and loot every single barrel and sack?

You can buy some recipes, but others you have to find in the world.

Eventually I hit a level later in the game where I stopped using decocotions and oils and only used potions and what not. You eventually turn OP.

Na. By the time I finally got there, I knew what to pick up or leave and there were way too many doors to try to go everywhere.

Main reason I headed to Novigrad was to get the best satchel so I had more room.

Will definitely be more fun to play now with the storage options.

I get what you guys were referring to about how deep the quests were. They are longer than most game story missions I did fail a quest though and it taunts me in the quest log.

1 complaint I do have is that it feels like weapons and armor break down way too fast. It's just a nuisance.

I can see this. Im always getting shtt repaired.

Did you finish the main quest? I know you have been working towards that goal in fckking baby steps. The game still hasn't sucked you in?

Those words describe what is slowing me down. I met Keira and we chased the hunt though a dungeon. We came out and I started doing side quests.

That is the beauty of W3. World is vast, story and the universe of the witcher are huge. Just give in and enjoy. Think I completed the main quest around 70-80hrs in. Really took my time and enjoyed the game.

I'm enjoying it. I would enjoy it more if I could play for a couple of hours at a time but I keep getting interrupted.
