Yeah, I'll be waiting it out until standalone at least. Me and a buddy had 2 different vehicles that were only engine parts away from being done poof. And tents that wouldn't save shite. We finally got a vehicle running and ultimately a helo. After flying around the whole map for 3 hours we destroyed it and killed each other because we knew it wouldn't save.

Played DayZ for the first time.
It was a real bitch to install. I accidently did a bunch of shite that I wasn't suppose to do yet. This prevented me from running OA the first time. Tried like 50 things till I finally got it to work. From there I just loaded up DayZ commander and let it do the work instead of me.
Once I got into a game I instantly went into to that little dock area and climbed up this one building. Eventually I jumped down to this one place and had no way to get down so I just killed myself. Next I actually found an axe, but by then I was already bleeding pretty bad and couldn't find anything to fix it so I just ran into a group of zombies and tried to take as much of them out as I can. Now I find myself in a barn, with my legs broken. So fricked.

Finally got a good gun.
Was just walking from my spawn point after joining a random server when I see 3 dead guys, a tractor, and 2 ATVS. These guys were loaded. 2 had some pretty good sniper rifles, one had a M4A1 SD I think? Anyway I took that and when off. Went to that airstrip near the spawn and found a group of guys. One tried to shoot at me with a pistol so I took him out. I don't think the others had guns because they just ran away from me. Guy I killed had an ACU pack which will come in handy a lot. Anyway it feels great to have a gun and not a dumb ole hatchet.

Just had my first run in with a hacker. He started off by spawning everyone in one place at the beach. The beach was filled with helicopters on fire. While I was going "WTFFFF" I was randomly blown up. Lost my M4 with 2 mags and my PDW (which is less effective than a pea shooter). I tried to go back into the flames to look for it but was blown up again. It fricking sucked.
Edit: And after acquiring a alice pack, a bow and a lot of bolts, and a crapton of medical supplies I was killed by some random guy. Bow doesn't work all that great when the other guy has an M16
