This split is the worst in the leagues history, no question.
But again, C9 always performs well. Huge roster changes, play in stage, top seed, you name it and C9 performs.
It's why Reapered is so highly regarded.
I don't think it really matters what state NA is in for C9 to do well when they have for years.

Considering that C9 has to practice against those teams I would wager it definitely has an effect. C9 hasnt been the top dog since 2014 and even then atleast they had TSM, CLG and LMQ to practice against. This year there is nobody.

Could be. I think they can be a semifinal ceiling team this year but all depends on draw as always.

A little early to be calling a team a Semi final team in Spring before the playoffs are even over. You also called TL a semi-final team and that was after MSI. None of the NA teams got out of groups last year and we are currently having the worst split in terms of play in LCS history and you are crowning C9 as a semifinal level team.

C9 has already made a semifinal. Simple as this roster being better than that one.
Duke made the final four last year, boy they are off to a great start this year I think they can make the final four again.

Go look at 2018 Worlds again. It was one of the most wildly uneven brackets. Basically everybody who knows anything knows that C9 was very lucky to make a Semifinal and even then they got shite on by FNC who in turn got shite on by IG. They managed to draw a crappy Freecs team in the Quarter final.

Worlds is always about the draw. But C9 had made it out of groups as much as they have and with tons of roster changes because they're just well run and have a great coach.
With G2 losing in the first round no one in EU looks like they'd stomp C9 right now either.
But none of it matters. Meta will be significantly different by October and Worlds before any of them play each other.

Also it helps they have probably had the most favorable world draws compared to any other team. Of course none of it matters right now.
Thats why I said it was early to call them a semifinals level team and you said since they had already made it before with a worse roster they stood a good shot of doing it again.

Eh, we'll see when it matters. Still the 2nd best roster on paper in the league and arguably first. Not much TSM can do with their roster though, 5th is about their ceiling again this year. The new norm for that org though.
