It doesn't look like shite but it's seriously dated. Especially when you have games like the Witcher 3 already out and can see what a real open world looks like. Plus the framerate was struggling, hopefully they can fix that without adding more pop in.

Oh man, if they don't release Zelda as a launch title, then you can go ahead and bury the NX now.

True, I think a good 3D Mario game is more important though.

In all honesty they need both and then some.

But that's not what they're going for.

But that's what the competition is in an RPG.

People wonder why Nintendo shits the bed over and over, it's because they constantly don't innovate the video game world in general in recent years. They used to be a power and pushed creativity, but their games and systemshave been outdated and short lived in the last decade.

I don't remember the last time I actually played my Wii U , or thought, "DAMN. I HAVE to buy that game for Wii."

I've honestly played my gamecube and N64 more recently than the Wii.

Ok Horizon Zero Dawn, no matter how you slice it Nintendo is lagging behind. And it shows more when it comes to open world games.

Fair enough points McCaig and Galvo.

Maybe it's just the nostalgia of Ocarina of Time for N64 for me. But I'm super excited for this. Love the Japanese style art they went with for the word, even though it doesn't look "real". I think they made a lot of changes with the different weapons, climbing and jumping, more rpgish elements.

I'm a little let down I probably wont ever play it. I can't imagine spending 300ish dollars for 1 game.

Probably doesn't have the dungeons that Zelda will. Just because they gave Zelda an open world doesn't make the game all about the open world. It will still have aspects to it that are unique.

Games don't have to have super realistic graphics to be a beautiful game.

No shite, but the don't have to have a ton of pop in and a choppy frame rate either.

One good thing about the Zelda stream is Audrey's wonderful tits.

Fixing pic foul with shitty live stream screen grab

She works at Nintendo, but I'm not sure exactly what she does. Probably a publicist or something. I know she used to be at IGN.

IGN.

I throw my application out to IGN and Kotaku literally every time they have a writer opening

Being in the sports media is fun, but video games would be the dream.
