Anyone have any experience with this? I see that Crusader Kings 3 is supported via steam and if I can buy a shield for less than $150 seems like a good deal, better than a $500 laptop for just 1 game. Also, can you run gamepass on a Shield?

I use it.

It's decent. I wouldn't play an intense online multiplayer game on it, but it works. Steam and Nvidia Stream are solid (Nvidia is better quality than Steam).

I don't think Gamepass can run, or I haven't tried.

I'm not a graphics nerd, so the small downgrade it gets is manageable for me. And it let's me play most, not all, of my PC library in the living room, which is nice.

Trying to decide between the shield and just buying a chromebook and using geforce to play.

For me, the Shield has been a solid investment. Very good media streamer as well. Can sideload if I want.

I have it set up, it’s ok. No way I’d play on it all the time. Hardwired connection and I still have a tiny bit of lag which is annoying.

Price just increased on the paid version.

Current Founders grandfathered.
