My boys have a switch and the younger one (6yo) was playing Super Mario Wonder without us knowing the wiser.

Is there a way to turn that off without disconnecting from wifi?

Doesn't it just involve seeing other players playing the same course you are playing? Is there chat capability?

Just wondering what the concern is here. My kids are set to get this game for Christmas.

Now that you say it, I’m not sure. That would be our concern, if you can communicate. I guess I just assumed you could.

I’ll have to double check.

Edit: Looks like you’re right. There’s no chat capability or anything. The most interaction you have is a handful of symbols that appear over your character but that’s about it.

You def can't communicate, some of the levels are very frustrating without seeing other people jumping around or them putting up their stickers. He will want it online.

This was my understanding too. I think other players can help you win levels, which seems absolutely awesomely perfect for my 4 year old who wants to win the level but won't accept someone taking the controller to help then cries when she dies.
