I still play NHL 16 and am on the fence whether I want to buy NHL 17 or not, is it different enough that it's worth it?

Season needs to start.
Guys like Buchnevich and Guryanov who signed ELC's still aren't in the game until they play in the NHL or AHL.

Does EA not have custom rosters for NHL?
Jesus, that is one god send about MLB the Show, Operation Sports makes a roster file you can download and upload in to make all of the minor league teams and what not right.
I do remember on the last NHL game I played religiously, they had two of the Reinhardt's (Sam, Griffin) on there and in their corresponding draft classes on Franchise mode along with Nail Yakupov and a few other top prospects from back then. Do they still do this at least? I think it was realistic prospects for the first 2-3 years of the franchise.

Chychrun is 76 despite being a top 4 d-man for Arizona at 18. Kempny for Chicago is 60.

Hey guys; I know the theead is a bit old, but how is the online play? Do you guys ever go into online team modes (I know those are free for alls sometimes). I've found success with other mic'd players who try.

I had NHL 16, I regret buying the digital copy. I tried and tried and tried to get good at it. But unfortunately i just couldn't. I was pretty good at the 90's and early 2000's versions. But It has just gotten way to advanced for my simple mind.
