I got it in yesterday.
I played for about 2 hours straight as soon as it came out of the wrapper.
pretty fricking fun.
i love being able to switch back and forth between your LCPD career and your Criminal Career.
Then they slowly add in better cars, newer equipment, and better tracks. It's pretty awesome.
Not to mention it shows you what time your friends ran the track in for every race.
i don't see and vehicle customization options tho, that's a little disapointing.

I wore this game out last night. I initially bought Apache. That game sucked arse so I brought it back and got Hot Pursuit. I only beat Big Chris' time once. Other than that I'm pretty bad at driving.

i need to add big chris to my friends list so i can compare his times to mine too.
wait til you get some faster cars. some of the races are with all cars that go 200+ mph.

I tried to race with Carnage last night. Apparently I couldn't connect online. I had to go into add ons and download some update. After I did that I was able to connect online. I don't know if I should be the good guy or the bad guy. I took out the bad guys much quicker than you.

you mean one of those racing wheel controllers? i dunno. worth a try tho.
go to free drive and practice drifting around a curve. it will help. you won't lose all your speed going around sharp corners.
right before the turn, let off the gas.
tap the brake
then hold down the brake, the gas, and the turbo to glide smoothly around the corner with speed.

well it's either that or:
go around the curve at 50 while your opponents take it at 100.
or
crash into the side barrier and lose all speed.

that's how you keep your turbo up. drive in the oncoming traffic lane and barely miss cars. that and drifting, which you obviously haven't figured out yet.

I'm gonna break my A button. The Kontrol Freeks are a bad idea on this game. Great for Black Ops, not so great for racing games.

....i'm excited to play against you in this game. my friend is a cop and he shuts my arse down almost ASAP when he is the cop and i'm the racer. i've only escaped once.

ehhh, as much as i hate them and hope their program gets destroyed, i gotta pull for the SEC.
Plus my brother graduated from there and most of my friends here at work are from AU. the lesser of evils i guess.
