Try teamplay, probably the best addition to madden.

Are you serious, the new Madden is bad arse.

1 million times better than NCAA.

I played one game on game flow and was pissed, I will only be playing old school. But the coordinator talking into your headset before every play is cool feature.

Time out. I posted a thread about which one i should get several days ago and the overwhelming majority said madden. Soo have people discovered that it actually sucks now that its been released??

Nope. It's badass. The problem is that people buy the game every year expecting some massive change/improvement, then when something changes they get pissed b/c it's different then what they are used to. I mean, how much more can change after 20 years? When you buy the game every single year, you can't really expect much to improve/change in terms of gameplay and options.

I'm one of the few who like the GameFlow option. If you take a few minutes to set up your strategy and add/subtract plays to suit your game then it's worth it. I actually played on the default playbook and won both games. They put me in shotgun inside the 10 twice (which is absolutely something Payton would do) and I scored both times. Once on a screen to Pierre and the other time I audibles out of a pass and Pierre ran 8 yards up the middle for the TD.

I haven't bought Madden since 08. I have 09 but never played it. I didn't care for it. From what I've seen, 11 is smooth gameplay and plenty of options. I like the new controls and gameflow. Plus it's not impossible to throw the ball anymore. You can actually complete passes to a WR and he doesn't have to be open by 10 yards.

When I played Minnesota, Peterson fumbled 3 times so you know it's realistic!

The gameplay in madden is far better this year. I actually like the turbo less control thing. Once I get the settings right I can tell this games going to be good.

The only flaw I've noticed is the simmed stats in franchise mode.In week 1 the defensive player of the week had 5 sacks an int and a forced fumble. Also Brett farvre only threw 2 ints.

I didn't really experiment with setting the gameflow for your tendencies, I'll have to try it out. In the end I think I'll still be a traditional guy. I turned the auto sprint off, it just doesn't feel right without it.

I'm already a fan of the gameflow. The game just goes so much faster which I like.

I agree about the sprint button. I'm trying to force myself not to add it to the controls, but I keep pressing sprint and doing nothing! It definitely will a process getting used to it.

Agree with the gameflow. I need to tweak it though, I've only played with the saints and so far I don't think it's called a run play once. That damn coordinator is annoying as frick, glad you can turn him off.

Well the fricking saints are unfair. I played Aa the saints with the CPU as the Vikings on pro last night an racked up about 72 points.

But like I said that was on pro...

Also, I think ea may have overcompensated on the run game. It used to be too hard, now it seems to easy.

i play on all pro and its not that easy. I am 3-2 in my season with Dallas. My biggest margin of victory was against the giants who i put down 35-10. felix had 140 on the ground that game.

Here's something I posted on another site...

I love the gameplay, but have a couple of things really hurting the experience.

I like the concept behind Gameflow, but not the execution. The producers talked to coaches about why they have Gameday Playcards - the answer was they only have a small window of time between plays and can't go through a whole playbook. Add in that the online community, for the most part, only uses a few of the 300 available plays in any given game.

But coaches have many options for each situation and can go off of gut feelings or adjust with how the game is going. I would love to set up a gameplan based on what I want and get a few options to choose from. I love the Ask Coach feature in NCAA where I can choose from 10-15 plays...only takes me 5 to 10 seconds to find what I like. How great would it be to set up which plays are offered based on my preferences. Ask Madden is frustrating this year because I only get 3 plays to choose from.

My solution would be to combine Gameflow and Ask Madden. Let me set up the plays I like for each situation (or use the default in the game) and then give me 5-10 plays to choose from. It would accomplish making it faster to call plays while giving me total control over what I run.

My other complaint - where are the real formation subs? I think I can make adjustments in the game...so why can't I set up something in the main menu for the whole season? Or do the adjustments carry over from game to game? The Saints are perfect for formation subs with the 3 RBs (PT starts, Bush in Shotgun and single back, LH in goalline), moving WRs around so everyone gets a chance.

I even created a Junior Galette (70 OVR with good SPD/ACC and finesse moves) to put in Nickel and Dime - don't think I can do that now.

Say what? Pretty sure I heard them say "Stand up and get crunk" on the 360 yesterday. I'll verify when I get home today though.

Are you sure? The only show three plays at a time and you can scroll down to see more. At least that's what I did with the rest of the play book, but I only use Ask Madden once and saw a play I liked on the first glance.

I love that audibles seem to be much smoother and faster now too.

not a big fan of the game flow setting, and I hit A a lot after plays trying to skip thru the bs and wind up back lined up trying to run a play.

I'm pretty sure. I tried to scroll down and nothing happened. There were a couple of times (not counting obvious field goal/punting situations) where I only got 2 plays to choose from. It wasn't like this last year so I was surprised.
