Weekly Challenges: Right now, the weekly challenges are easy MT points. You should be able to beat most if not all of them with an all bronze team. I can't remember the totals for completing week 1, but I believe it to be in the 6-7K range.

Gauntlet: This was the mode I started off with one I ripped open a few packs. Speaking of ripping packs, throw down $20 and rip the 7500 gold packs. You will get some nice players out of that. I've pulled my Amethyst Lebron, Blake Griffin, Teague, Duncan from those packs. once you get some decent shooters on your team, go ahead and start grinding out the Gauntlet games. Basically, each time you win the round, you get to select 'X' amount of cards that they have listed. once you reach 20 wins, you get to start pulling off the silver board which nets you silver players. Then once you reach a certain number of wins you unlock the gold boards, so on and so forth. Games are to 21 by 1's and 2's. You pick your one player, and then you are assigned by the game two additional players. There's no rhyme or reason to the selection, which is why I say make sure you have some shooters.

Domination: After a bit of grinding, and hopefully some good pack luck, you should be able to run through most of the domination teams. You have to earn 3 stars each game by achieving the set amount of MT points listed. The great thing about this year is that after every in game action, you are given a real time stat on your current progress. I was able to hit 900+ on my first game against Philadelphia but was only required to get 425. Rebounds, Fast Break points, Post moves, and dunks net you the most my team points per offensive possession.

In order to create uniforms, logos, etc. you need to have 40 cards for a logo. 60 cards for the uniform and 80 cards for the arena.

Holy frick I can't beat the Knicks in domination.

My lineup:

Norris Cole - Silver
Tyreke Evans - Gold
Quincy Pondexter - Silver
Ryan Anderson - Silver
Roy Hibbert - Silver

Bench:
Eric Gordon - Silver
Randle - Silver
Embiid - Silver
Hedo turkologu - Bronze
Asik - Silver

WTF?? I breezed through every other game with worse players (mostly bronze) and I get to the Knicks and they don't miss, pick off every pass possible and I can't get open for decent shots.

I've played them 4 times now and can't win no matter how I change the lineup, change defensive settings, change offensive approach. Double Melo? He passes to open guy and they hit it every time. Single cover him? He never misses. One game he literally went 10/10.

Planning to grab the game in the next couple days. Have the Pelicans Mardi Gras uni's or new massive video boards made it in?

Ok well I grinded out more games and MT, bought Brook Lopez cheap and then one VIP pack with VC and got Klay Thompson.

Everything now is a breeze in domination. New Lineup:

PG: Norris Cole - Silver
SG: Klay Thompson - Gold
SF: Tyreke Evans - Gold
PF: Ryan Anderson - Silver
C: Brook Lopez - Gold

Eric Gordon, JR Smith, Roy Hibbert, Asik, Pondexter and Randle coming off the bench.

I abuse the post fade with Lopez and Anderson and rain 3s with Klay, Gordon and Smith. Been averaging about 650-700 MT per game.

On fast breaks it doesn't get much better than Reke, passing or finishing.

Will that be enough to battle to the gold rounds?

Brook Lopez can be found very cheap for a gold player (about 3-4k) on the auction house and has a post fade of about 83. Ryan Anderson is also good for this. Also cheap on the AH.

Feed it to him, hold left trigger. Push the left stick away from the basket while shooting, and he will turn around and fade back while the shot meter starts.

Once you get the hang of it, if you do it fast enough after the pass, you get 2 for the bucket, 5 for the assist, 5 for the post move. Easy way to rack up MT.

If I'm not working out of the post, I'm shooting 3s with my best shooter (usually Klay Thompson) off catch and shoot tries. Drive and kick with my PG off of isolation or P&R.

Brag post here but:

I'm starting to really like my lineup. Got the 100 card collector bonus of 15k MT and went bargain hunting. Picked up Mike Conley, Z Bo, Duncan and Gordon Hayward all for a total of about 19k. My new lineup:

Mike Conley PG
Klay Thompson SG
Gordon Hayward SF
Tim Duncan PF
Brook Lopez C

Tyreke is my 6th man since he can play 3 positions
Z Bo off the bench (Even Minutes with Duncan)
Jeremy Lin
Eric Gordon
JR Smith
Ryan Anderson
Asik

I think my overall team is 83 rated now.

This should get me most if not all of the way through domination. By then, I should have a ton of MT and maybe a few new gold cards in the lineup. Then I can start hunting for the top tier golds or bottom tier amethyst. Won my first Gauntlet game last night too.

As far as gauntlet is concerned, I would only play players who have a shot. Usually you can get a big guy who can grab boards. More often than not though, you are left with two choices of players who cannot shoot. So I would load your Gauntlet roster up with players that can hit mid range/long range shots with ease.

Said "frick it" and bought $5 worth of VC and bought some packs.

Pack 1: Draymond Green - good.

Pack 2: Amethyst Lebron James. Thank you very much. Up until this point I had only pulled Tyreke Evans from domination. Everything else was silver. Bargain hunting on the AH with the collector bonuses and pulling Lebron now has my LINEUP AS:

John Wall / Mike Connelly
Klay Thompson / Tyreke Evans
Lebron James / Mark Aguirre historic
Tim Duncan / Zach Randolf
Marc Gasol / Al Jefferson

I reduced the minutes of everyone else to zero and make sure the minutes of each player position equals 48 between the two guys.

Example: I play Lebron 33 minutes and Aguirre 15

About to play the Pacers in domination.
