NBA 2k13 MyCareer Contracts Question

Has anyone been offered a contract that pays more than 500 VC a year? I'm averaging 22 ppg, 4 ast, 4 rebs, 2 stls and they offered me 500 VC for 4 years. That's the same amount I got in my rookie contract. Can you even get more or is that the ceiling? They are being stingy as frick with these VC. Especially with how much everything costs in comparison with how much you earn.

Do they still have the option for teams to pick up the third year of a rookie contract? I know that VC is so hard to come by, I'm kind of surprised at how they low-balled you

Damn, I might as well tank for two seasons so they don't pick up my option and sign with a good team my third year if I get the same contract
