No worries. If you figure out how to post a screenshot, we can continue. Until then, I’ll just address OP

Come on, man. Go back and read the thread. I’ve spent multiple posts trying to coax out of you that you had made an honest mistake. You double, triple, then quadrupled down

Just curious. Do you play COD? If so, I'm curious since I assume you have r7 7900x3d(not sure what gpu you have, altho cod is a more gpu intensive game imo, even tho your processor should never be bottlenecked tbw in this game because it a strong cpu off jump), what frames per second are you getting? Just curious.

I don't play COD, and my rig is a few years old now, so I have a 5800x and a 3080. Was planning a new build this cycle, but after both GPU companies disappointed so badly, that's on hold.

Ahhh ok . Ive read in reddit that the amd's GPUs were problematic but mine seems fine. Not sure what I'd be looking for.

Historically, AMD had less stable drivers and poor stability, but that hasn’t been the case for the last half decade or so. The 7900xtx is a great value card for anyone who is aiming for high frame rates without upscaling or ray tracing. For anyone who wants to utilize either upscaling or ray tracing, there are much better choices in Nvidia’s lineup.

This generation of cards being disappointing by both companies is a different issue. Nvidia just isn’t offering much uplift over last generation outside of the 5090 and AMD ceded the high end of the stack entirely. So it’s just a boring generation that’s hard to care about. Then when you combine card shortages, most people fell into apathy pretty quickly.

You did genius.

"It's equivalent to probably a 4090"

Almost a 4090 but more like a 4080 super... "genius"

Look it up azz

This just gets down to semantics of what “almost” means. The 7900xtx and 4080S are basically equivalent in raster, putting them both about 15% behind the 4090. Whether that’s “almost” can certainly be debated.

Though the 7900xtx absolutely gets crushed by both in any RT workload.

i agree with alot of what you said. I just basically saying that gpu is somewhere between the 4090 and 80 super or in the ballpark if anything.

I have the asrock phantom 24gig 7900 xtx.

Reminds me of Turing/RDNA 1 minus following the best bang for the buck gen.

1/2 isn't "almost" in any book.

All i'm saying. I don't want to get in framerate GPU wars, the GPU market is a shitshow, but you definitely overstated things.

Yeah your right. The 4090 is maybe 15% faster than my gpu....

I stand corrected

This is what I said arse

It's equivalent to probably a 4090 or at least a 4080 super.

Sounds like im saying it's very close to both. Some people here are just miserable
