E33 would have been a lot better if any of the story had meaning. Instead we are expected to invest and care for people we come to find out aren't even real. It's all made up. Its dark and pretty and the hardest part is re trying fights until you get perfect parry. Rinse and repeat to advance a story you no longer care for by the ending. Even the characters stop caring once they find out they're not real people.

Compare that to Henry's story which you can easily get behind, root for and actually give a damn about what happens to the other characters arou d him. There is no comparison, really. If KCD2 is a 10 E33 is a 7-7.5. A little higher when it starts, maybe even more intriguing as a concept. But they throw it all away.
