Is Battlefront II's campaign worth Redbox'ing?

No interest in the multiplayer, but the campaign has interested me from the announcement. For anyone who has complete it, how long is it and is it remotely decent?

It's a DICE campaign, so it's pretty basic. If you're interested in SW lore, it'd be good to play just for the story.
It's probably around 8 hours and I enjoyed it. it's probably worth a redbox IMO.

Have you played any other Dice campaigns? It is very similar. I enjoyed it, but it was nothing ground breaking. Some decent story items though that tie into the movies.
The multiplayer is really fun though, so I think you'd be doing yourself a disservice not playing that portion of the game.

Not that I know of.
I just enjoy Star Wars lore more than anything and I know there is some good canon info in this game which has me interested.
I'm honestly not even looking for a challenge
The multiplayer is something I will not touch. I redbox'ed the first Battlefront and after it took an hour or so to download an update, I got started playing and returned it to the redbox after two matches. It was unplayable, IMO. I'm not trying to start a fight about Battlefront I or II either, I just don't want to touch the multiplayer portion of the game. It was extremely boring I thought.

Probably worth a redbox then. Some good flying missions, gorgeous scenery, and some good SW lore in it. The gameplay of the game is fun. Probably 6-8 hours I would say of campaign. Get to use some classic SW characters as well.
I wasn't a huge fan of the BF1 MP either. It was fine, but got old fast. This one I will say is much more fun. I have had a blast playing it. Much better gameplay for sure. However, if you weren't big on the first one, the MP probably won't interest you that much.

Sweet, I'll probably pick it up then. Thanks for the info!

If you like a Star Wars, yes. It’s nothing earth shattering, but the missions were decently fun and the cutscenes were really well done.
