The first one was nice looking, but you could see the entire game in 15 minutes. Is this one different?

I read that it's longer. I'm playing now and the time it took me to be the first has already been surpassed and I've only made it to the beginning. There was like 5 fights before the game even gets started, there is also an actual story in this one.
