Because my free time is so limited, organization is essential to finding time to play the things I need.

Mine is like this:

Halo (or other Microsoft first party titles I like)

Bethesda Games

Bioware

Star Wars

Indie Games

Horror Games

CD Project Red

Sports

Because I work 12 hours a day, 4 days a week, I only really have time to invest in games that fall into these categories. I chose these because I already was invested in these things to begin with.

If something REALLY good falls outside of these groups I might play them if I can find the time, but most of the time I don't, regardless of wether the game is good or not.

I just don't have the time unfortunately.

I typically have several games concurrent at any one time which I rotate between :
1 turn based strategy/rpg
1 real time strategy
1 or 2 open world RPGs
1 racing, sports, or fighting game

Right now, I’m mostly cycling between Stick of Truth/pokemon as my turn based, star wars: galactic battlegrounds as my rts, breath of the wild and skyrim as my open world rpgs, and smash bros ultimate for my fighting game
