That's the hardest race of all. The first place car and I tied at the finish line, but I still got gold. Definitely make sure to fully upgrade the drivetrain/transmission. Just use a close transmission, don't need fully customizable. You will also want to use a sports suspension kit unless you know how to properly adjust a fully customizable kit.

Just got this game for x-mas and I love it. The graphics are unreal! What are some starter cars that you recommend? I started with a Nissan Familia and have been un-beatable in the lower level races. I see that some races require certain cars, like the Yaris. Is it advantageous to get those cars and complete the races? TIA

I always hated how if you play for example a mini Cooper race series and win then all, you get another mini Cooper after you just had to buy one to compete on the race. I wish they'd award you with a car for the next event. Jmo.

Most of the time, if you gold a circuit of races, you will be given a car that is needed for other circuits. For example, I golded three races in the Muscle Car circuit and was given a Buick '62 Special, which allowed me to win the Supercar Nostalgia circuit race.

I don't move on until I get gold and I'm on the very last test on the first license. You have to pass 15 cars on one lap. Ive come in 2nd at least 20 times. I watch the example on the game and it looks like the front cars are going slower than they do when I try.
