1/4 jack but it comes with a converter for 3.5. You can always buy a standard 3.5 cable as well, I purchased one for like $20 a couple of years ago.

For sure because that's the better pair of headphones. Plus the amp/dac will be the better investment down the road if you get another set of headphones.
Massdrop and Amazon are good places to look and buy the amp and DAC.

how do you feel about a modi 2 uber and magni 2 uber? Would that make it suitable for gaming? Or could I get away with something cheaper.
