Fort nite privacy settings and messaging

Setting up fornite for my son. He doesn’t have a mic or headset but you can hear others chatting through the tv. Where do I find the settings to change that.

Believe under the settings you can turn voice chat off completely.
But it’s something that is easy to change if your kid knows how.
