Fallout 76 thoughts?

I know beta is coming out next month. What Ive watched about the pvp system and being a story entwined, I think its a really ambitious step. I really like some aspects of pvp as it really does play into the post apocalyptic/ survival aspect of it. What are your thoughts on what info is available?

The setting looks massive and incredible.
Fallout is my favorite franchise so I guess my final judgement just depends on how necessary it is to play with others.
They've said it can basically be played solo so that gives me hope.

Its very interesting that there are no NPC in the game period. Players are left with a choice of setting up trade shops and scavenging for trade or robbing players or whatever. I wish they would roll out beta sooner than a month before the expected release date because there will be a ton of patches and bugs

Todd Howard has since both made the answer very clear, however. In an interview with Geoff Keighley on the E3 Coliseum livestream, Todd confirmed that Fallout 76 features no NPCs, except for robots:
“There are no NPCs. So that’s one of the big differences that we really leaned on, which is every character you see is a real person. But there are still robots and terminals and holotapes.”

No they have NPCs.
No HUMAN NPCs. Not just robots.

Same here. Not excited they changed the usual fallout line survivor format but it's still a fallout game and I'm excited to play and experience a new wasteland.

Hmmm. Could be interesting changing things up.
Fallout 4 seemed bland to me, too easy, the home camps were useless, and horrible acting. The only saving grace was the main storyline.
Having a realistic society with real players could be fun.
