Enemy was real spongy before they revamped survival, they're still kinda spongy, just not as bad. They added disease to the mode, like if you eat raw meat, you'll more likely to catch a disease and only antibiotics or a doctor can heal the disease. You have to sleep to make a save, which I didn't really like, because at the time the game was a bit unstable, but I use a mod that enables me to make auto saves.
