It would make sense. They have done a great job with the reboot of wolfenstein and now doom. This is the first id tech 6 game so they can work with that.

As you get closer to the end it gets stupid crazy with waves of enemies.

I've been mulling over getting this or Uncharted 4. I'm not a huge Uncharted fan, and I hate multiplayer. I'm just kind of fricked.

I'm near the end of the campaign with about 8 hours played, I won't lie I kicked in GOD mode about 2/3 of the way through, it gets tedious and insane.

Yes, and they throw the heavyweights at you in droves at the end of the waves.

I'm old, so the last Doom game I played was on N64. The original games had a horror element and enemy placement was more varied than just throwing droves of them at you at once. I'm afraid this might make my IBS flair up.
