I go to play COD yesterday and turn my ps3 on. I knew something was wrong because the main screen wouldn't load. Finally, I get this message: "The Hard disks file is corrupted and will be restored." So I click X to let it do that. It shuts down, but when the system comes back on I get the same message about the Hard disks file being corrupted.

Any suggestions? Ive never heard of this before.

TIA

Might get away with just replacing the hard drive

An HD disk is a hard drive, which is what your PS3 is telling you is screwed up inside of it. It sounds like a hard drive replacement will resolve your problem.
