Shortly, it's PvP MMO with 115 000+ registered supporters and already $7M of budget, not bad for an indie game kickstarted last March. Described by developers as "Game of Thrones meets EVE online", it will have lots of unique, procedurally generated worlds - including the ones made by players (just skip that AWFUL acting in the beginning) - with voxel building & destruction and massive battles over resources and territory control.
Best quick intro is IMO it's IGN Wiki and here is couple early (pre-alpha test) videos, still quite rough + with rather small maps and player numbers:
- Some messy PvP with Ranger;
- Confessor (fire DPS), played by a noob girl.
I'm especially big fan of it's artstyle, I made a post on Worlize with lots of images and details about artwork and game setting, and if you like it - you can check this Imgur album with hundreds of images and screenshots.

I doubt PUGs will work here, campaigns (think: BIIIG battlegrounds) will last for months and you'll either be part of guild/alliance - or at least have good party of friends - or you won't last long.
I mean, this looks like MOBA in early tests, but both maps, durations and player numbers will be like 1000 times bigger.
