Ok, so kind of a long post. New to video games and consoles. (Actually is for my 10 year old son).

I downloaded COD MW III Warzone (it looks like it came with a couple of different COD) from the main page of XboX Series X. (Free download).

Anyway, it does work, but I was looking for something to where I can play open maps, or campaigns. I'm assuming Warzone is strictly like Fortnite where you play WITH people?

I guess I'll just purchase COD Vanguard for the campaign version.

Try the Zombies game mode (though I'm pretty sure it's not free to play, think you have to pay for that in the main game).

It's an open world map that you can opt for looting or doing missions, or just shooting zombies, basically make the mode as laid back or challenging as you'd like.

It's also PvE so you're not playing against other people, but you can team up to take on some of the more difficult contracts.

Seems pretty obvious he just is looking for the full game for single play missions.
OP just buy the full version of MWII and MWIII if you want to play campaigns.
