Can I download a Nintendo switch game to console?

My son and my nephew have games that each other don’t have. Could they insert the game and download it to the console like you can on PlayStation or is that not a option?

Yes you can.
If
You both have Nintendo Online and add each other within a Family/Group.

But again only works for digital at the moment. Not 100% certain though.
Also could be wrong about requiring the Online service. I'm not certain. The ability came with Update 6.0 which is also the update for Nintendo Online.
