thanks
I've been practicing piloting with my brother being the gunner. We have gotten decent but I need to get my hovering skills up.
Is there a way to play a "practice" level on BC2?

single player
play rush O, for those 2 maps. if you can at least lift it off the ground, your off to a good start for multiplayer, and better than others

Heli isn't too tough.
My first attempt was an utter failure, I drifted into some trees, promptly blowing myself up.
My second attempt was much much better. The inverted controls threw me off for a minute, but I finally adjusted. It's all about cutting loops while the minigunners do work. I haven't had many opportunities to try the Havoc out, but I had fun with my few piloting attempts there. It's easy to get carried away blowing shite up when you can pilot and gun simultaneously.
I don't get too pissed when I get killed by a shitty pilot, so long as he learns from the mistake. I've gotten pretty good at spotting a terrible pilot and I usually bail before things get messy. I have had a few instances where a dumbass will pilot us so far outside of the active area that we all commit suicide.

I'm becoming an expert of sniping the pilot and the gunner out of those damn helicopters. It should be worth more than 50pts
