What is the best settings and best defense to stop the outside run in NCAA 2011. I can not stop the run, and the slant or pass over the middle is always open. HELP? Thanks.

Teams like bama just run all over me. So use Dime Cover III and II for run or pass over middle

User control a safety and fly to the ball off the snap.

The defense u control doesn't matter a whole lot if you can do that.

I actually think that's the easiest D to run outside on, lol.

If you run a stretch behind a FB or a power run with a pulling lineman to take on the blitzing LB, all that is usually left is one safety from my RB and a HUGE gain.

In my experiences, I think blitzing gets you killed on outside runs.

i control the free safety contain both de's move my lb's close to the line to stop the inside run. i shut down all run game with 425 over ss dogs. dime all out or dime prowl. pinch and crash line in press the receivers.

i know just about every glitch that ncaa has. i know several 425 nanos. i know how to turbo blitz. the kickoff glitch. the wheel route glitch. if you can stop the run on this game you can win easy. i was like 55-0 at one point then i got bored and stopped played. was num 12 on xbox and 30 on ps3 undefeated on both systems. gets boring when you go up 21-0 then somebody quits 3 seconds before half and the game doesnt count for you as a win. ea sports

Are you really bragging about winning while using ALL of those glitches?

im telling you penn state pb. the power i is pretty tough. i won 55 games in a row using it. shotgun bunch quads is money 2. get in dime 2 man press reblitz one de and blitz the safety on the edge of the line right next to him. he goes around fast as hell. or just take the safety and turbo blitz. works good.

Shel beat me to it. It's tough to stop the run without some sort of user control by a safety.

With even-ish teams, it's almost impossible to stop the outside run with some good user safety abilities.

And this ODanMan is killing it right now.

when the game first came out me and my friend went unranked game and figured out how to stop the run. ace heavy nebraska is the best run formation on the game. power i is a close second. ace heavy counter and toss are the toughest to stop IMO. the 425 stops its really good though
