Beatles Rockband downloads

I have a regular XBOX, no hard drive and im not online. I have the Beatles rockband and would love to download all the albums they will be releasing. But how do I do that? Im guessing I need to buy a hard drive, so ok. But then how do I set up the online thing. Do I have to pay the membership fee to download or can I just have the free account to do that?

Yeah, "regular XBOX" is confusing terminology when talking about a 360.
