Looks like a Baldurs Gate clone, thinking about pulling the trigger on it. Curious if anyone has tried it?

yes, the combat is excellent

the character models are ugly as hell, voice acting is ok

I played all of the campaign that was out in early access and enjoyed it quite a bit - again, if you are into deep turn based dnd combat you'll love that aspect, just don't expect it to be the prettiest girl on the block.

I'm sure I'll get back to it again at some point to finish the released campaign, but I'm more interested to see what modders / dlc can do with the bones of the combat system

So it's only partially released? The full campaign is not playable yet?

no, sorry if I was unclear - the full game is out, it was also available in early access previously (when I played the first chapter of it)

It evidently follows the rule book 100% which turned some folks off with the strict adherence to light and sight. I saw some folks who liked the game overall but hated the lighting sight issues. You essentially need to have a torch equipped in order to hit anything in dark areas.
